“How Digital Transformation Redefines Organizational Paradigms, Challenges, and Opportunities in the Data-Centric Era”
which will be held on 26-27 November 2026 in hybrid form.
The accelerating pace of digital transformation, driven by technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud computing, and advanced automation, is fundamentally reshaping how organizations operate, compete, and create value. PEMF2026 is devoted to examining this shift through four interconnected themes:
- Digital transformation of organizations and operations.
This theme is focused on Industry 4.0 and the emerging transition toward Industry 5.0. Contributions in this section explore smart manufacturing, digital supply chains, process automation, data-driven operations, and cyber-physical systems. Emphasis is placed on drivers, barriers, and implementation challenges, including cybersecurity, interoperability, resilience, and sustainability in complex global networks.
- Human, cultural, and organizational dimensions of digital transformation.
This theme examines how digital technologies reshape human-resource management, leadership, organizational culture, and employee experience. Topics include technology-enabled recruitment and retention, HR analytics, upskilling and reskilling, human-centric design principles associated with Industry 5.0, and ethical issues such as algorithmic bias, employee privacy, transparency, and responsible governance of digital tools. - Financial and economic implications of digital transformation.
This theme analyzes data-driven financial management, fintech innovations, digital performance measurement, risk management, and the valuation of digital and intangible assets. This perspective highlights how digitalization transforms financial decision-making, corporate control systems, and economic value creation at both organizational and industry levels. - Market, customer, and societal perspectives of digital transformation.
This theme covers digital marketing, customer analytics, platform-based business models, and data-driven innovation, as well as broader societal issues such as ESG reporting, sustainability, and digital transformation in the public and non-profit sectors. This theme emphasizes the growing importance of aligning digital strategies with stakeholder expectations, regulatory frameworks, and social responsibility.
By moving beyond traditional decision-making models, digitally empowered systems enable organizations to become truly adaptive, anticipatory, and resilient in the face of complexity.
Conference language is English. Only presented articles focusing on the mentioned topics will be published in the conference proceedings.
